Everytime I click on an "Apply Now" Jobserve Subscribed Job Application email, I am asked for my Working Status in the UK, which has a drop down and has defaulted to blank-despite the fact I had populated the drop down 10 minutes earlier with "UK/EU Citizen", after applying to a previous job; all other questions remain cached. Proof of my nationality can be provided to other forum viewers if required - simply send an SAE for a clear, colour copy of my passport. This occurs on Chrome and Firefox so far.

One of the many reasons I never use their Apply Now 'feature'. Most companies stopped using application forms for recruiting in preference to CVs circa 1995. It's a shame JobServe seems to think it's a good idea to resurrect such an outdated concept.Originally posted by pootle View PostEverytime I click on an "Apply Now" Jobserve Subscribed Job Application email, I am asked for my Working Status in the UK, which has a drop down and has defaulted to blank-despite the fact I had populated the drop down 10 seconds earlier with "UK/EU Citizen" (Proof of nationality can be provided to other forum viewers if required - simply send an SAE for a clear, colour copy of my passport). I've been using Firefox (v13) and it works for me 100% every time, also works fine in Chrome and IE8, were you definitely logged in at the time?Originally posted by pootle View PostEverytime I click on an "Apply Now" Jobserve Subscribed Job Application email, I am asked for my Working Status in the UK, which has a drop down and has defaulted to blankComment

Can you fix your daily to hourly rate thing as well please. I am sure it is because our IE is very old but business case for client to upgrade the build because I can't work out hourly/daily rate on job site won't really cut it....Originally posted by BobTucker View PostI've been using Firefox (v13) and it works for me 100% every time, also works fine in Chrome and IE8, were you definitely logged in at the time?'CUK forum personality of 2011 - Winner - Yes really!!!!

Yes definitely logged in otherwise the remaining details would not be cached; however it would be nice if citizenship details were stored in permanent settings - after all I've lost count of the number of times I changed my nationality and changed it back again (and had the option to change it back yet again) within the hour.Originally posted by BobTucker View PostI've been using Firefox (v13) and it works for me 100% every time, also works fine in Chrome and IE8, were you definitely logged in at the time?Comment
