Hope someone could give me some advice here
I have secured a role that will require me to undergo SC vetting
Now I need to provide a 10 year employment history, which is not as easy as it sound!
I am good back till 2005, can remember everything pretty clear till then, my problem is 2002 - 2005
Back in my youth between those years I didnt really work all that much and well to be honest just got pissed up in pubs clubs and parties. Did occasional few weeks with various agencies on tulipty jobs, but nothing for any period of time.
So my problem lies with giving accurate info on the vetting form for my employment for those years, as it was very sketchy, and i cant remember exact dates, or indeed which agencies that was with! Same goes for the dates of unemployment benefits etc.
I have asked the jobcenter and HMRC to provide me with 10 year records on me, which they said they will, in order to piece together these years, but it may not be 100% accurate
What I am trying to find out is does anyone have experience of something like this?
If I fill the form in and get some dates wrong, or miss an employer out etc, is this going to screw me over for SC?
Really hope not, as will love the role, and had it been 2 years in future would have had no bother remembering the history!
