    CSI Consulting anyone used them?

    Hi All,

I have had a call from CSI Group -w ww.csican.com the above mentioned agency that appears to be based from India.

They sent across my CV to a client for a conract role that got shortlisted for an Interview but i am not sure of the credibility of this agency / company for longterm

If anybody has dealt with these guys please, share your experiences.

    Thank you

Ask them if they're on the client's PSL.

That should give you the answer...

My advice is to treat all Indian recruitment agencies with a heavy pinch of salt. They are going through a process of finding out who they can get for something like 80 Rupees a day. (Allegedly).

I can't trust a foreign agency outside Europe for as far as I can throw them.
If your company is the best place to work in, for a mere £500 p/d, you can advertise here.

If only this was in general and I could do various CSI / Who are you puns.

Never heard of them myself but like Cojak mentions speak to the client and see if you can confirm if they are on the PSL

Thanks, but i am have no direct contact with the client so i cant ask them

I will ask the agency. 2ndly, as they are based in India and not sure what regulations apply and what they can get away with. Plus they dont really understand the system over here. The poor guy didnt even know about jobserve website

Do you know who the end Client is? Just ring them up and ask who their PSL is, what can they say?

You can usually tell a lot about a recruitment agency by their website or recommendations.

                Can't find any recommendations.

The website is down for "Maintenance", but you can access other parts of it by just going through Google. I would be incredibly careful to be on the safe side with these guys.

Ask the agency in writing if they are on the PSL.

And if they're operating in the UK, they should absolutely be sure of the regulations that bind them. They should know about the Code of Conduct for Employment Agencies regulations.

                  How hard can it be???

I think you already have your answer...
