True. But what's wrong with asking an easy question while continuing on with my busy day, then coming back to find the answer with minimal effort? Any fool can google it, it's about getting more info from the experts and using the best of that info.Originally posted by northernladuk View PostBut it isn't for spoon feeding people that can't do a bit of their own research.......Comment

Ermmmm.... If it takes an expert to tell you where to get an IR35 friendly contract from rather than googling it (which actually would take less time to find than asking some intelligent contractors and Accountants / Umbrellas), then there is a serious and fundamental problem.Originally posted by Peter Loew View PostTrue. If you have a scenario and after googling it, and / or searching on this forum, you can't answer the question, then there is a problem. I use to fall into the trap (and sometimes still do) of asking questions before doing any research. As the saying goes, Google is our friend, until it dies and disappears. If your company is the best place to work in, for a mere £500 p/d, you can advertise here.Comment

What's wrong is that you give those who are not having a busy day an excuse to argue with you all day in General. As you have found.Originally posted by Peter Loew View PostTrue. But what's wrong with asking an easy question while continuing on with my busy day...

With the greatest respect to QDOS, I don't think you have, as QDOS are an established Accountant on this forum, and their reputation is governed by their contribution to useful threads on this site. QDOS are fully capable of holding their own without numpty posts asking for information that could be googled on the internet.Originally posted by Peter Loew View PostHa, I've just helped Qdos Consulting promote their business.
All in a day's work.

Sorry to be harsh, but unless you are the greatest contractor this site has to have, I would hold back from making such statements. If your company is the best place to work in, for a mere £500 p/d, you can advertise here.Comment
