That is quite correct and why there is a sticky at the top of the FAQ page advising this. It also advises you to search in an individual area.. i.e.

site:forums.contractoruk.com/accounting-legal/ so it only searches in the most relevant areas...

Why does asking someone to do a search need a chill pill.

Because you only ever post to the effect that people should not post here ! The reason varies slightly but the result is always the same : "do a search", "if you have to ask that you're not cut out to be a contractor", etc etc.

If you don't want to answer newbie questions you're not obliged to reply to them, if you do choose to reply why not be helpful ? I was far more interested in the OP's question than in your crass reply then self-justification in this thread. I repeat : take a break, or take a chill pill.

They don't make me insecure, they make me bang my head on the desk as they are always lazy and unresearched. I don't mind helping people that put a modicum of effort in first....

For example, you asked about the basics of starting a plan B here and now we gave you advice and already more questions about funding it.
