    Credit Check of Agency

I've jsut run a credit check on an agency I need to go through for my next contract. Result is

Credit Rating: 51/100 - Good Creditworthiness
    Credit Limit: £1000

The credit limit is the amount of credit in a month the company could be expected to pay back. If I get paid monthly the amount of credit I will be extending to them will be more like £10k.

This is the first time I have credit checked an agency and am a little nervous about the results. I'm likely to try and negotiate weekly payment terms to reduce my risk. But I can also see they only have a working capital of £40k so if the client pays them monthly I can understand why they would resist this. Has anyone else run this kind of report on agents? WHat kind of results have you got?

Ah yes, good point, I'd forgotten about that. I think I'll do that
