Credit Check of Agency
I've jsut run a credit check on an agency I need to go through for my next contract. Result is
Credit Rating: 51/100 - Good Creditworthiness
Credit Limit: £1000
The credit limit is the amount of credit in a month the company could be expected to pay back. If I get paid monthly the amount of credit I will be extending to them will be more like £10k.
This is the first time I have credit checked an agency and am a little nervous about the results. I'm likely to try and negotiate weekly payment terms to reduce my risk. But I can also see they only have a working capital of £40k so if the client pays them monthly I can understand why they would resist this. Has anyone else run this kind of report on agents? WHat kind of results have you got?Tags: None
