The grove or the grave?

We'd occasionally take visitors from London to the Commercial Inn on sweet street who could not believe that they were getting Lasagne and Chips for £3.50 and that they can get served by Leeds legend Peter Lorimer!!

I remember working at a cr4ppy software house (UPCO) not far from the Commercial Inn. As a consequence we used to spend most lunchtimes in there. It was quite a novelty being service on by Peter Lorrimer as my father took me to my first live football matches at leeds in the 70's (should have done him for child abuse looking back ;-) ).

A couple of guys I worked with back then who I'm still in touch with have both contracted at William Hill. From recollection it was just a contract. Nothing outstanding either way. In the current climate though it's work and far better than being in London.

Reluctantly put myself forward for a fixed-term () with these as it isn't a big drop from current day rate and is 12 months+

Would also be keen to know where the site is as Google brings up all sorts in Leeds...
