Are you sure you've made the right choice in contracting for a living?

    Serious question.

        It is a serious question.

Have a look at the 50+ threads' titles you've started in the last 3 months and decide if you've made the right decision.

And no of threads started has direct correlation to ability as a contractor, does it?

You should probably start a thread asking if there is a direct correlation etc etc...

It's not the number but the topics concerned and repeatedly asking the same question.

There is a big difference between going away and researching how to run your company and understanding it to being spoon fed by a bunch of strangers with differing opinions and taking the answer you like on face value. There will be a day you might actually have to make a decision alone and the 2nd otion isn't setting you up for that.

                  Guys,

You've got me all wrong. Yeh, I do ask a lot of questions etc. but thats just me. I like to know what I'm doing.

But you should be flattered that Im interested in the opinions of some of you with more recent contracting experience than I have.

But, I do know its opinions and thats all I'm looking for. I have never once taken as gospel anything thats been said on here but I'm always interested in how things work for others. Is there anything wrong with that?

And I am getting better. :-) Give me a few months and I'll be slagging off newbies who ask if they really need an accountant with the rest of you.

So, sorry for being a little bit annoying.....
