Should I sign an Opt-in Contract or Opt-out?

Click on the link in my post! Underlined text is usually a hyperlink to another website or page. In this case it's another thread that has been pinned to the top of the forum, i.e. a "sticky".

Instead of thinking others are stupid, you could think maybe you haven't understood the question so that you can avoid explaining what a hyperlink to another forum is!

Like I said, I was hoping to get a link to the leaflet (e.g. a pdf) which explains the opt-in or opt-out scenarios.

Go to Google and put in

site:forums.contractoruk.com opt

Will search all the posts for Opt. 1900 or so of them. Some pretty old but still valid. Enjoy.

It's not a link to "another forum", it is a link to another topic in this very same forum sub-section that contains some concise summaries of the general consensus about opting out.

That link to a legal opinion from a specialist tells you all you need to know. That same sticky also points out the tip about searching that Northernladuk has helpfully repeated here for to you.

All you have to do is read the sticky. If, after reading the sticky, there is something you DON'T understand about opting out then read it again. If you still don't understand then please ask us.
