    Testing jobs

    Hi
    Currently holding HSMP TIER 1 VISA IN india.
    can any one guide me how to get a job in Testing from India.
    is there any placement consultancies are there.

    I have 6 years of experience in Mainframe & Microfocus Testing.
    Worked in Development projects also.

      The general consensus is you need to be in the UK, it's practically impossible from India.

        It's a shame you want a testing job. I was looking for someone based in India to do all codings. Must have experience in 'the needful'.
        When freedom comes along, don't PISH in the water supply.....

          put your resume on jobserve. find out what skills are required for "testing" jobs.
          Other than that, no magic tricks. Once you get your resume on jobserve, agents will try and call you. In my experience, if you will give an indian contact number, all bodyshoppers from UK will try to catch you and reap profits on your behalf. You might consider coming to UK first with your visa, and then applying.

              lol.. sticking my neck out here, but most of the testers I found were not so impressive. I guess it is not their fault, the kind of testing methodology employed in most of the organizations is manual testing, which boils down to check if test case A executes.. but then in my previous organization, testers were paid less than developers.. no offense btw
