interview dress code in Germany?

Germans do quite like wearing jeans, smart shoes and a shirt and tie which I find weird!!!

This has been my experience and was as true 12 years ago as it is today. It just looks wrong.

Especially when the shirt has a pattern on it.

I blame the yanks... Ross from friends in particular.

I wear jeans, a t shirt and some outdoor walking type shoes, but I am the scruffiest person in the office.

If you wear a suit , you cannot do anything wrong.

OK, today I went out and got a second-hand suit for 30 euros. If they're real engineers, they won't be able to tell the difference. I know I can't.

Wear a mismatched suit and dont forget white gym socks and black shoes.

The SS were always very smart but this is a historical point that hasn't descended to the business community I'm afraid.
