Is there a market for Filenet....im thinking of moving in to Java or C#.

I assume you are a contractor? If so read on.
Maybe there is a market but if you don't have the skills you are going to find it hard to get in to it. You could do self learn, few home projects, be a bit liberal with the truth on your CV but a client hiring a contractor wants him to be an expert in his field and get on with the job in hand. They cannot afford to take someone on and train them, it just doesn't work like that.
Yes if there is a market by all means target that market but put some tought and research in on how you are going to do it. You can't just move, you need skills and evidence. Think about how you can get these first.'CUK forum personality of 2011 - Winner - Yes really!!!!Comment

I used to be a permie at The AA in Basingstoke. They use Filenet, but lacked anyone with experience using it. I actually wrote some webservices to pull insurance documents out of Filenet.
I'd have thought the best way to tell is to search the jobs boards?Comment
