    Excellent News

Kate Cottrell of Bauer & Cottrell who I have always had every one of my contracts reviewed by before signing is now seconded to the OST as a government advisor

Hector: Is your contract outside of IR35 and acurately reflects your working practices?
Chef: It sure is and it sure does, meet Kate, my contract lawyer

Erm, you have failed logic IMO. If she checked over them and had them re-worded as she saw fit, she originally worked for HMRC before going private and now advises the OST I don't see what "low hanging fruit" you speak of might be available in her past list of contracts she has checked over??

She ensured her contracts were water tight and the OST thinks she does such a good job they have seconded her to advise them how to improve small businesses life.

I'm not so sure it's good news.

Government bod: Kate, do you think we should get rid off IR35?

Kate: Like flip you should, it's paying for my Bentley.

I hope it is. I'd hate for the words: "Perhaps we should put NI on dividends..." to be discussed in those hallowed places of leit-fingeredness.
If you think my attitude stinks, you should smell my fingers.

May I suggest you get out of comedy sooner rather than later? I don't think comedy is your thing.
