To the OP, you are a commodity to the agent and nothing more. Don't expect them to assist you in trying to up your rate.

If you're not happy, find another contract with a rate you are happy with.
    Older and ...well, just older!!

I don't know which thread you are reading Alan but everyone post on here has a tongue in cheek dig at the OP's situation and level of respect IMO.

Very little sympathy here for this type of question and situation I am afraid.

At the risk of going off topic, Martin Ward Anderson do show their rates to the public, although the document is a little hard to find.

40%? ouch *puts them on advoid list*
Really would say they have that scale wrong way around, higher rates for lower value contracts, lower for higher.

Langkawi, i could give you long detailed reply about the damage the policies of cheap imported labour has had on those employed in UK IT, but to be honest not worth the effort for someone who's reading comprehension is so low

Go and tell the agency to give you a pay rise out of their margin. If they won't then get a job somewhere else that pays more (if you can). Don't let them fob you off, you need a thick skin in this business. (And if you don't want to be offended by all the little Englanders on this forum )
