We need some kind of symbol for "3-months" which we can paint onto laptops, like bombs painted on a Lancaster bomber.
I saw on someone's CV the other day, "renewed 6 times", like it was tours of duty in Afghanistan or something.Comment

I was asked how many renewals I've had, I explained that my last 2 roles were both data migration on a fixed time-frame so any renewals would have meant I'd underperformed.Originally posted by dang65 View PostWe need some kind of symbol for "3-months" which we can paint onto laptops, like bombs painted on a Lancaster bomber.

I heard the whoosh as this went straight over the agents head, never got a call back.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave JohnsonComment
