We need some kind of symbol for "3-months" which we can paint onto laptops, like bombs painted on a Lancaster bomber.

I saw on someone's CV the other day, "renewed 6 times", like it was tours of duty in Afghanistan or something.

I was asked how many renewals I've had, I explained that my last 2 roles were both data migration on a fixed time-frame so any renewals would have meant I'd underperformed.

I heard the whoosh as this went straight over the agents head, never got a call back.

me too. just got a fifth 3 month extension. which is nice.

Just got offered another 3 month extension! 3 months now becomes 9! Every extension takes me one step away from the hell that is perniedom!
