Possible contract via Computer People, they said its subject to 5 years references ( which will be no problem) and a credit check.....do they do the CC in house?...the man said it wasn't an in depth check, just to see if there were any CCJ's against me which there aren't...its for a Monday start, or will the client (bank) do the CC?

I had this at a certain bank and they used a different company to do it. Had to send work history and bank statements for time I wasn't working to make sure i wasn't being entertained at her majesties pleasure. Nothing to it.
Can't remember name of company but they did everyone walking in the door.'CUK forum personality of 2011 - Winner - Yes really!!!! -

Thanks guys I had heard that CP do their own CC as part of their service to the client on contract roles but for perm the bank outsources to specialised agencies.
What makes me laugh with these things is when they ask you to start work and you have onsite physical access and access to systems while they do the checks.
One day someone with sympathies to al-Qaeda is going to take advantage of this and the vetting will show up dodgy three days after the bombs have gone off.Tyrell: "More human than human" is our motto.Comment
