    Actually I looked at the ad (like I should have done initially) and its one of those fixed term things that gives you holidays etc.. no not a true contract...

    Will slink away and hide under a rock.. sorry.

      I did a stint at parliament about 8 years ago. Worked in the serjeant at arms office for about four months. Money isn't great but parliament does have huge perks. There are a number of bars on the actual site, plus some real swanky restaurants all subsidised very heavily.

      It's like working at hogwarts!!!

      Got some cracking stories from working there.

        If it wasn't for the fact that I am otherwise occupied and being 'on the run' ( ), I'd apply just to see what happens.

        I'd never be allowed within a mile of the place given my views.
        How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.
