    Barclays, Radbroke Hall.

They won't get anybody "Local" to do the job at that rate so they'll fly in one of their boys due to the "Skills Shortage".

    F**k 'em.

      = Fail!

Flying their guys in would be an abuse of the Tier 1 visa which I think has been mooted before in discussion about Techmahindra. Would love to know a little more about all this to keep an eye on TM and their activities....

Yep, worked there 2 years ago on 2.5 times the rate they are now quoting. Gulp.

Had the phonecall from LA International on Monday about going back there as an Architect. Top rate on offer, £300-350, and you'd be luck to get that. That's about half the rate I can get in London as a bog-standard Java Programmer...

Techmahindra, think they have an ulterior motive

Mate of mine was moving contracts, offered his outgoing role to me. Due to budget shenanigens within the ClientCo further recruitment had to go through Techmahindra.

Mate left the role at £360, when the phone call came from Techm they said the rate was £250.

Mates boss said they were still paying them the circa £360+markup rate but things have to go through Techm., hands tied and all that.

Needless to say I declined their plenty cheapness offer.
