I have also received a letter from Bond Partners LLP. Not sure I can attend the meeting of creditors, but will make sure I put my claim in. Not sure it will do any good, but if you don't try, you don't know.

I am waiting for a call back from them to tell me what they need. Will keep you posted

You saying those of us in the UK and looking at not getting our invoices paid can do something accounting-wise to alleviate some of the pain?

Can you point me to more info on this?

I'd ask my accountant but he charges by the hour, and has no concept of minutes or seconds.

Sorry, but maybe I was being misled. I just read on a forum somewhere that you could offset a loss like that against tax or something like that. I only started contracting when I left blighty for sunnier climes so a lot of the UK accountancy stuff is a black art to me (But not as unfathomable as the french!).

        I apologise if i've misled you though....it wasn't intended.

Nah, not misled, I haven't gone anywhere.

My limited understanding is that there are no real benefits to be achieved from the situation apart from maybe a bit of paper shuffling accounting wise.

Certainly nothing that's going to magic the money into my account!

Fusionteam, I wonder whether you could post the contact details for the office of Bond Partners dealing with the JBA creditors, as I have not received anything from them, and really would like to put my claim in for the 3 months money that JBA owe me.

              "Broadgate IT Ltd"

Looks like everyone has been screwed by Nick Beckett for the second time.
First, Computer Personnel. Now "Jones Beckett". Next will be "Broadgate IT Ltd".
Check them out on the Companies House website.

You'll also find that a whole load of the "Recruiters" from JBA Ltd have now updated their LinkedIn profiles to "Broadgate IT Ltd" - except the Google cache gives the game away.

I hope he rots in hell.

FYI Two of the directors of JBA (Nick Beckett and Fiona Meenan) have already taken directorships at another recently incorporated company:

                  Broadgate IT, company number 07101834

I'm sure Nick will be able to explain everything at the liquidators meeting on March 12th, and how it's not your typical phoenix company.

I can't believe you guys are getting ripped off and unpaid. JBA are now starting another company called Broadgate IT. An ex-consultant who still works in the industry, but for a much better company, told me that they used to lie about jobs and get people to attend fake interviews- even worse they used to get other JBA consultants to 'telephone interview' contractors to prevent them from accepting real jobs. Their bread and butter was making up fake interviews and jobs so they could extract information and use this as a lead source.<removed> He should be answerable to you as he is taking your money. He lives in a multi million pound property in SW London and he is thieving your money. be warned not to use Broadgate IT in the future and should report this to body that regulates the recruitment industry. Nick Beckett is now contactable at nick@broadgateit.co.uk
