    I meant the hassle of continually transfering it, maintaining it. So when you get your DV clearance report back when you`re told after landing a new gig that you can`t start for another x weeks until yet another BC is done, tell me it`s not a hassle.

    I don`t think it`s £150 more a day. I`m seeing DV cleared jobs advertised at low rates at the moment

    You can also easily lose it also, without realising it

      I didnt say it was a "trivial" matter...

      You only actually fill in the forms (yes, they're in-depth and that can take some time) and have a lengthy interview.

      All the investigative work mentioned above is done by other people in the background as part of the vetting process. So, it's not exactly a load of hassle but it's not trivial either.

      Also, I would hope that if you lost it you would soon realise when the burly security guards turn up at your desk!
