Not today, not tomorrow and not next year, maybe in the long term - but then anything can happen either way - thanks for your interest.

Well yes, actually. Nevertheless, the ICT rules are clearly stated, and include restrictions on rate/salary; it might help your case if you read them.

ICT's are worth what they can get on the open market just like anyone else.

Analogies can be drawn to Warren Buffet's assessment of the causes of the credit crunch:

There's a "natural progression" to how good new ideas go wrong. He called this progression the "three I's." First come the innovators, who see opportunities that others don't. Then come the imitators, who copy what the innovators have done. And then come the idiots, whose avarice undoes the very innovations they are trying to use to get rich.

PZZ you are indisputably allied with the idiots.

Here’s an idea, knock up a word doc that just says “This job ad is being reported to ICTabuse.net” and register it with Jobserve as a CV then apply for the role via ‘apply now’.

                    Should get some interesting replies.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

In my last four contracts, I have saved the client considerably more than I charged them for doing the work. On that basis, I am clearly underpaid...
