...been offered a 6 month IT PM contract role in London, starting on Monday. Sounds good role, rate though is much lower than previous contract, 20% down. But it is a job to see me through to year end. Saves having to look at permie roles as well as contract PM roles are non-existant the moment

Thanks everyone I was benched for 8 weeks, started to look in the last 5 or so weeks, was looking forward to the Ashes and then this came along.

Well done. Can we ask what was your skills background? All and out PM or with a particular technology/vendor focus. Be interesting to see what the power that be 'are' hiring for nowadays and if you are public or private sector PM?
