Thanks - skills are in banking/finance IT sector with various flavours of techs and vendors. Public sector sector no chance if you don't already have 'public sector experience' And rates are considerably lower.

Well done. Can we ask what was your skills background? All and out PM or with a particular technology/vendor focus. Be interesting to see what the power that be 'are' hiring for nowadays and if you are public or private sector PM?
...been offered a 6 month IT PM contract role in London, starting on Monday. Sounds good role, rate though is much lower than previous contract, 20% down. But it is a job to see me through to year end. Saves having to look at permie roles as well as contract PM roles are non-existant the moment
