Car - inside the company or out ?

Not asking for specific financial advice of course...

What is the general opinion ? You can get pretty good business lease deals at the moment on some fairly nice cars, that would seem to offset the personal benefit in kind tax liability.

What are experiences of people here ?

    Talk to your accountant.

It depends on the lease, the car, the mileage, all sorts of things.

IMO - Always best to finance via PCP

You need to business lease something like a fiat panda to offset BIK!

Oh and dont forget the hidden charge when handing the car back if leased where they go over it 4 times with a fine toothcomb for any scratches longer than an inch. Dont forget the front valance (the bit under the bumper) and the alloy wheels for signs of kerbing.

The leasing industry makes over £120m a year on 'refurbishment' charges for what you or I would call 'wear and tear' but they call minor bumps and scrapes.

They try and fob you off that fair wear and tear wont result in charges but as many as 78% of car leases result in further charges often averaging £600. And do you really think they get the cars 'refurbished' after charging?
I couldn't give two fornicators! Yes, really!
