    Emplyer CD-ROM

Did anyone else get this from the revenue?

    Do you bother using it?

We used to use it when we did our own accounts. Don't use it now as the accountants do it all.

Because it's your company's responsibility to sort it out. They don't know how much your accountagent does for you.

            you trust your accountant?

            Bwahahahahhahahaha, haha.

The CD is great, takes me 5 minutes a month to complete. tells me how much tax & NI to deduct.

It also does my yearend company submissions in about another 10 minutes.

I thought it was more useless "would you like to go to a seminar" leaflets and chucked it. Can anyone tell me exactly what it's called so I can ask HMRC for a replacement, or point me to the relevant URL?

I am about to switch to a private accountant, a 'managed service' I found via these boards originally has just cost me £700, I think they are overworked through taking on too many contractors.

Has anyone switched to a local private accountant who they can visit versus one of these managed accountancy firms, and seen an improvement?

Why have a dog (accountant), and bark yourself (Employer's CD)?
