Why have a dog (accountant), and bark yourself (Employer's CD)?
Because if a learn to bark myself I do not need to pay for a dog?

How much is your time worth?

I am happy to pay an accountant to do all of that gubbins for me. Some people aren't. I can see their point of view too.

my ltd co is very new and the accounts are very simple right now there is absolutely no need to spend £1k+ on an acccountant per year.

time involved is pretty minimal but then I do have some accounting knowledge anyway so it is not like I am completely green.
