What to learn for the next upturn

So a number of us a facing the possibility - or reality - of being on the bench for a while. I am wondering what skills might be worth learning when the economy does eventually pick up in 2012/13.

I think SAP will still be big, as will some new age net technologies. I have very little experience in the first and none in the latter.

What do you think is worth learning (or going permie for, to learn) over the next couple of years?

It's either me or the market is dead at the moment unless you are already in this space.
