    Dilema

Ok... here goes... Completed a contract with a client in early December and have seen an advert for a job with the same client but at a different location (in Telford if that is enough of a clue) for a permie job. (Ok, I'm thinking about jumping the contracting ship). Now, if I get offered an interview and get the role, how would this affect all things HMRC related. I suspect that I would be ok.... but am looking for advice from anyone who may have been in a similar position.
If your company is the best place to work in, for a mere £500 p/d, you can advertise here.

I don't see the problem, you have tax deducted at source as a permie - HMRC will be very pleased.

The only concern I have is whether the HMRC would try and penalise me by deciding my previous contract is IR35 caught as I ended up working for them.

The problem is the fact that I am going to work for the same client... albeit in a different location. Just want to make sure that the good old HMRC won't see my contracting as a deliberate tax avoidance in order to secure a permie role (or whatever reason they chose)
