    Thanks for the info. Here's hoping that they won't try chasing me with the excuse of "unpaid taxes" and classing Dividends as a salary... etc. etc. Let's see how it goes.

    i asked my accountant about going perm and the implications therof. apparently hmrc won't bat an eyelid and you'll probably have to deal with SA.
    if you have a decent accountant they should sort the transition out for you and advise what to do with your limited, should you have one.

    The only concern I have is whether the HMRC would try and penalise me by deciding my previous contract is IR35 caught as I ended up working for them.
