    Contact End Query

Quick question...if you are coming to an end of a contract should you give same notice period of not re-newing as if leaving mid-contract or just let it run through ?

    Thanks.

    Just let it run out.

If you want them to extend then a gentle nudge will do the trick - turn up late wearing your smartest suit.

Might be worth mentioning in passing that the end of the contract is looming, just in case they have forgotten.

I wouldn't give notice, but would let people know that you are leaving soon / might be leaving soon / might be looking for an extension soon.

no notice applies, but if you are not wanting to renew just let them know asap as a courtesy (and give them chance to come back with the big rate increase offer).
