Longest period of time on the bench

One week and I am sooo bored! Got few things in the pipeline but still - I dont know how people can intentionally sit at home [not obv benched contractors but in general]

Depends on how you define 'bench time', most people take holidays after a contract and do not actively look, personally I dont count this as bench time.
When you are actively looking and cannot get anything, thats the bench, and I usually have bewteen 0-3 weeks riding the pine.

two weeks back in May 2007. only time on the bench (unplanned) since 2001.guess I've been pretty lucky.

Then don't sit at home. Go on holiday, do a training course, go down the gym. Ii's really not that difficult.

Cant go on Holiday due to family and kids and do the rest anyway still bored! Can I come and wash your car? Or stand at the traffic lights and wash windscreens? Or gyrate in a back and forth fashion whilst circling my nipples in a circular style?
