WHS!!!!
Nonononono!!!!
Yes - you are being played!!!!
You do not negotiate at this stage - they've already tried to diddle you once.
It should have been "£350 - take it or leave it".
You are almost through the door - the client wants you and has already agreed to £350 I strongly suspect. The agent is not going to dump you for her extra £20 per day.

Just to add - in future, don't specify a range either. State one figure only - not too high to put them off, but something you'd be happy with. When they ask "but what's your bottom line", you ask "what's your top offer?".Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!Comment

Nope. Assume you've lost the gig and go for the other one. If they call / email back, tell them that they have missed out.Originally posted by LadyChatterley View PostStill no call from them. Should I send them another email or phone them, or just sit tight?
I think someone has already suggested, write a letter to the client telling them that you are disappointed that the offer had been withdrawn by the agency, etc.If your company is the best place to work in, for a mere £500 p/d, you can advertise here.Comment

I guess now is the time to decide where you want to be. My suggestion is to find out how long the £400p/d offer can be held on for before deciding and set that as the absolute deadline (minus a few hours) and tell the preferred agency that if there is no contact by then, you will assume that the opportunity has gone. No if's... no but's.Originally posted by LadyChatterley View Post....
But feel free to treat my opinion as a first time poster.
