pmeswani - Betfair have a open (perm) web app sec position at the moment, looking for someone with dev experience - might be other openings though. I've spoken to them quite a bit in the past and they seem like a nice bunch of people.Comment

I understand they have a lovely lady TM there who knows nothing about testing and is just concerned with metrics ie how many tests have you run in the last hour and why is the number so low!

I worked for a gambling company based in Antigua. One of the best jobs ever in terms of experience. Did everything from software development to unpacking new servers and installing them. Learnt a whole bucketload about network security and writing clean, secure code that was extremely efficient (the half hour before the Superbowl is the most insane thing I've ever seen from a server room).
8 years on, and it still gets brought up in interviews. The all round skillset involved impresses people a lot.Comment
