    What are your thoughts on this article? Do you think we weill see an influx of new IT contractors? Could this mean more bench time of seasoned contract professionals..?

    Many people simply need the "security" of perm jobs.... I wouldn't hold my breath ...

      Unless the number intending to go contracting has increased since last year, sounds like business as usual.

      My experience over too many years, is that when there's lots of contracts available, more permies go contracting. As soon as the market er... contracts, so those making hay while the sun was shining quickly retreat to permiedom.
