I've seen an interesting contract nearby and they are asking for expressions of interest. What does one put in a expression on interest? I was imagining just sending them a e-mail with my details. They would then send the pre-qualifying pack along.

Expression of interest - what goes in one?

FWIW - My thinking (and I could be completely wrong) is that an expression of interest should contain details on why you think you/your company can do the job. So it should contain tailored (as far as possible) marketing material pertaining to what you/your companies capabilities are. Sometimes I thin they send you a form/documentation detailing what they expect from you in the EOI once you have registered. -

HTHHow did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

They will collate the list of companies that respond to the EOI and then send them all a Request For Proposal (RFP) which will require completing with more detail about what would be supplied and how.
I have been on the client side of this process, but I don't know what is expected in the EOI. When doing the ones that I have been involved with, we decide which firms we send the RFP to, not the other way around.Comment
