    RAID - any advice?

I will do a search on the web but any thoughts on what level of RAID to go for if I want a decent file storage device? Are there increased levels of "safety" or do you select the type of RAID according to your needs?

You could try asking in Technical - people there might have a better idea than those in Business/Contracts
