A decent agent?

Hello,

I wonder if anyone is prepared to recommend an agent, particularly one who works with and understands Java, J2EE or similar skills?

By decent I mean:-

- someone with whom I can build an ongoing business relationship with
- someone who works hard for his/her commission and expects the same from a contractor
- someone who is not in the business of messing you around

I'm more than willing to work with such an agent, get work and provide them with commission over a long period of time....but can I find one anywhere?

Surely there must be some....?

The only reason I don't have complete distrust of this lot is I once thought they'd pulled a fast one and it turned out they hadn't and I had to act a bit sheepish the next time I dealt with them. I suppose I do have an "ongoing business relationship" with these lot but I still go back to Rule 1 'DON'T TRUST AGENTS !'
