Somebody posted on here a while ago stating that their bank had told them that not to do it, and if they did send this information to the agent then the bank would no longer cover them for any fraud that occured on the account.

My latest do with Elan involved reference fishing and on applying for a position they advertise the full year round was told the client only starts new folks two times a year.

Everything from Elan is now ignored here. They have been a total waste of space for me.

This seems to be standard for elan - they did it for me, but because i'm going through an umbrella i just sent them copy of passport, refrences and CRB stuff, then gave them the name of my umbrella. To be honest i can understand the ID thing, the limited company stuff and the CRB, but i don't see why they would need NI numbers (i didn't give them mine) and company bank statements, since the limited company dosuments should do as proof.

Personally i think it will be a senior manager at imposing a process on their staff wihtout a full understnading of what is actually needed.
