Contracting in the US

Hello,

I'm interested in contracting in the US for a while, I'm a british citizen and have been a UK limited company contractor for a short while.

How could I go about this ? Can I contract in the US ? How do I get a visa ? Are there companies that specialise in this ?

Have you looked at rates? I have failed to see anything offered on an hourly rate of much more than 60% of my UK rate. I have put the idea on hold until the $ appreciates against the £ significantly.
