I used to work for them. And then before them I worked for their sister company Midland Software. Who do HR and IR solution software.
Got made redundant from them and transferred to ZEDA with loads of others before we all got made redundant day after Bank Holiday in August 2001.
That was when I took up Contracting.
ZEDA are/were the same group of ZEDA-ABM who do the Police Photo Recognition Software. Who were formed late 2000 and broke off to a seperate office in Nottingham and Lichfield.
Major clients of ZEDA have been Elsevier (World wide Publishers), TESCO (Payrol system, of which when I was there they were still using Windows 3.1.1), BOOTS, Dixons Retail Stores Group, Birds Eye, Argos (Zeda developed the number system we see on the screen for when we are called to get our stuff), RS Components, Swinton, Alliance & Leicester, just to name a few.
There were originally on the Nottingham University Science Park with offices at Stirling University, Hull, Lichfield and even had one at Cork.
Some useless information there of ZEDA.Comment

They did dabble with employment, as they had another company in the group for recruitment of staff for ZEDA and Midland Software and other for general admin to local companies.Originally posted by Sockpuppet View PostWho? Never heard of them.
Edit: It looks like they were not a rec agency? Were they.
It was based at Castle Marina. During a few problems in the group with ZEDA and Midland Software, they sold off the agency, and "I think" Securicor staffing agency brought it. This was going back over 8 years.Comment
