I've found a PM, Tech Arch and Data Manager - but still looking for a solution architect - primary requirement is excellent retail solution knowledge - SAP is a "nice to have" - all I'm seeing is SAP consultants who have no view of the world outside SAP which is the sort of blinkered view I absolutely DON'T want!

        Please help!

        Desperate of Hemel Hempstead

Would love to help but alas I have just been extended for another year, I am working as the Enterprise Architect / TDA for a large UK retailer, much the same role you are describing there.

Supply and demand. I'm sure if you offer market rate +50% you will attract some good people.

It's like anything. You pay enough you can get anyone tomorrow.
