This all depends whether you think it is worth it. Some people will say, "sack it off - you're not being paid for it", others will say "stick it out and negotiate an hourly rate on renewal", personally I think if you have negotiated a rate that works out - hourly - as something you are happy with, then there really isn't any issue, providing you are prepared to work the hours. If you're not then look for a new role.
We don't have to save the world. The world is big enough to look after itself. What we have to be concerned about is whether or not the world we live in will be capable of sustaining us in it.
