My Plan B seem to be moving along .... (lol better than my C#)
I have just landed a contract to present a six part UK TV series on severe weather – this involves myself and my USA “Storm Chase” buddy. However I do have a question about billing. BTW The first episode will be to film and document the land falling (i.e. get into the eye) of a massive hurricane where ever in the world it may form. - even Japan!!!
FYI: I am using my VAT registered UK limited contracting company as an invoicing engine for the project.
Trouble is, how do I pass on the 50/50 split to my USA buddy? (who is not an employee)
My Bud runs a USA company himself and I will get him to invoice me for his time and services but I am not sure how that VAT works ??
So how do I bill my buddy and deal with the VAT side of things ??
Of course I will ask my accountant for advise in the morning – bit as ever I would like to know my options first!!

I knew a bloke when I was at University who was a budding script writer. He sent a batch of six jokes to "the Russ Abbot show" (OK, it was a while ago), he sent in six two-liners, they used one.
