I agree - I believe that Giant won "Umbrella Company of the Year" at the prestigious ContractorUK awards last year.

They seem to get a good press, I've never heard a word against them, and think they are lovely...

Hmm, I assume there is a hint of sarcasm in your response as not all that I have read on this forum is quite as positive regarding Giant.

There is, indeed, a hefty amount of sarcasm.

BUT they did win Umbrella Co of the Year.

As I said earlier, I have my own Ltd, so don't do umbrella - from what I read here, though I'd never go near Giant. PCG have their own one, which should be good, but I don't know.

Have a look at Parasol

I used them for 3 and a bit years and never had a problem. Left only because i wanted to set up LTD co otherwise would have no problem still being with them now.

I would advise very strongly against using them to anyone - even lower earners. They are terrible!!
