I used them for 3 and a bit years and never had a problem. Left only because i wanted to set up LTD co otherwise would have no problem still being with them now.

There is, indeed, a hefty amount of sarcasm.

BUT they did win Umbrella Co of the Year.

As I said earlier, I have my own Ltd, so don't do umbrella - from what I read here, though I'd never go near Giant. PCG have their own one, which should be good, but I don't know.

I said on the forums, not on the site

Oh dear, I thought you were joking, I just checked it out, took me a few mins to find it though as I didn't realise the world gif was the site map and then sure enough I too was transported to OnlyPunjab.com and ezines etc with pop ups a plenty when I tried the links in the articles section. This is really not very good and far from my expectation of a professional services provider particularly one that is dealing with ones finances!

Thanks for the feedback, I kinda already made my mind up about them but I think this concretes my decision not to use their services in the future.

I go a lot on quality of website, which rules these guys out as a starter.

Claims of "no risk of IR35 investigations" (well, duh!!) I can understand - how they ensure that there is "no higher rate tax liability at the end of the year" beats me, though - what do they do with anything over £38k???

Doesn't look good to me, but then I never look at umbrella companies anyway.

Nor me until the other day. I've been doing a lot of searching on umbrella's recently and trying to find out who would be a bona fide one to trust as my circumstances are looking to change in the near future and so many colleagues have mentioned so many different umbrella's yet most of them either have bad press or don't check out too good.

15A Harbour Road sounds like a residential address too??
