    I am new to contracting looking to setup my own limited company. If you guys have contract opportunites please let me know..i im going to paste some extracts of my Cv to you guys to see.

    I am only 23 and very eager to learn new stuffs

    SKILLS AND ACTIVITIES (Gained whilst working and training)
    • Operating systems – All Desktop MS Windows Versions from 3.1 to VISTA | Servers – NT4/2000/2003
    • Server software – MS Sql 2005 (administration), Veritas Backup – version 9-11d, MS Exchange 2000/2003, Norton Antivirus Corporate Edition 9.x
    • Applications – MS Office Suite(4.2 – 2007), Dreamweaver MX, WP Office suite, Dameware, Snag IT, Lotus notes 6.5, Exposure to ITIL
    • Hardware – HP Servers, HP, Compaq and Dell Desktops, HP and 3com Switches, Linkysys and Cisco routers, Hp and Epson Printers, Hp and Intel print servers, HP, IBM, Toshiba and Fujitsu Siemens Laptops
    • Network Skills – LAN’s, Active Directory, Group policy, EFS, DFS, VPN’s, DHCP, DNS, WINS, TCP/IP, IIS, ISA Servers, Ethernet Technology, RIS, Sysprep, Raid configurations, Certificate services, Printer maintenance.

    • General skills – organisational, Team worker, excellent attendance and punctuality excellent problem solving skills gained from my current job.

        You're 23 and have experience of Windows 3.1? In a corporate environment?
        And MS SQL 2003?

            nope no experience of 3.1 in corporate environment, but have experience of that generaly from personal use.

            And whoops realised a typo on my CV

            at present we under sql 2005 not 2003 ahhh as you can see a total newbie lol

              Lol I am not that bad! At my current job is a school. Here we can’t hire out contractors to do jobs like replacing switches/routers or even configure them. Same goes to cabling. So luckily at this current job I have learnt loads of new tools/software. Bit of all rounder skills I guess. But pay is only £13k hence I want to move into contracting. But if the skills I have shown above isn’t enough then fair enough ill stop thinking of contracting!

                You have experience of 3.1 from personal use? At 23? Your not really 23 are you? What did you use it for? And why?

                  Well i used 3.1 some years ago now, i still have them 6-7 floppy disks! yes i am 23 lol

                  My old machines had 3.1 installed use to use that for day to day usage but this was yearsss ago

                    I'm 26 and the first pC my parents got for me had windows 3.1 and the only reason i experienced 3.1 was it was an old PC as they couldn't afford anything newer. Good old 3.1
