I'm only (?) 28 and I remember Dos 3.30 and Windows 3.0 so I don't think it's that unusual to be aware of 3.1. Remember having to load up the old IP stack seperately to the rest of the OS ahhh, those were the days!

I stocked shelves for a week before, on a night shift at Tesco.

I was really proud of my neatly stacked walls of lard every night. I felt as satisfied as a builder with a finely trowelled brick wall.

I don't think I've ever gained as much professional satisfaction since

Of course, the lardy customers came and ruined my handy-work every morning

you've nothing to loose by contracting, try and get a help desk job, have a look at jobserve and see what fits the bill....you never know!!

Move "surfing the internet" from Hobbies/Interests to Skills, as its what most contracts involve.

                    Kam che,

Loose the above, it won't help in contracting. You probably could get something but overall you seem to be offering too much experiance for your age which would suggest you are either don't know any of the technologies in depth, or you are stretching the truth.... (I am not saying that you are stretching the truth, just that this is how it comes accross)

For example you say MSSQL 2005 administration, I doubt at 23 you are a DBA with everything else thrown in. You use dreamweaver so what are you an html coder? You mention cisco, but do you have a CCNA, are you a networks guy? Are you just running basic support atm?

Overall it just looks like you have thrown in a load of buzz words together and are trying to get your foot into any door. You need to work out what you want to do in IT first IMHO

                      cheers for advise

I have created a websitre using dreamweaver at my current job. I have all them skills because i have trained CCNA and MCSE. All the skills i have exposure but can do basic administration

Regarding sql, i can only create databases, back them up and basica restore. Can go into great depth. I have configured 3com switches. Hp Pro curve core servers and some Cisco routers through hyper terminal

Cant go into great depth but as i mentioned at my current job i have gained many skills. I have even created a server from scratch made it a Domain controller thats in a user based of 1500. So i may not be top man in all skills mentioned but i wont strugle if i had to perform basica day to day tasks of the above.
