Anywhere else to look except Jobserve?

    Hi everyone
Is there anywhere else to look for roles except for Jobserve? I've been all over the web, but all other sites either have jobs way out of date, or the same jobs as Jobserve....

Anyone got anywhere new to look?

    C'mon, don't hoard - i promise i don't have the same skills as you!

Jobserve,Jobsite,CW jobs - you have probably got it covered for most generic IT work by using these 3 and will still see plenty of duplicates.

If you have technical skills in the area of large scale projects - you can try X-Net . Having now posted this message I see that there are no vacancies just now.

Note that I work for them, so it is possible that I'm biased.

                Cold calling is OK.

On the minus side there's lots of rejection.

On the plus side you get to chat to lots of new and interesting people over the phone, and any work you do get along that route won't be as obsessive about such bourgeois things as "market rates".

Well starting out finding work on techno is good, I have found a few jobs on there.

Do a few contracts and you make a few contacts, and things snow ball from there really. I have just fairly recently placed a profile on www.linkedin.com which has been starting to prove fruitful I have had 2 enquiries from there fairly recently. I've only had my profile up there for abour 3-4 months now, and not really done much with it.

You could just carpet bomb your CV and website to every company you have a desire to work for.
